Caloritech™ GE series regular duty forced air unit heaters are designed for regular duty industrial and commercial heating applications, suitable for environments such as factories, warehouses, parking garages, boiler rooms, and shopping malls. The unit heater features a forced air system with a thermostat, operating at 600V and 5 kW, and offers electric fuel type with hardwired installation for indoor use. The heater has a heating capacity that depends on environmental conditions and requires consultation with the factory. It includes a blower, with output options ranging from 2 kW to 30 kW and compatibility with 208V to 600V in either 1 or 3-phase configurations, with a field-convertible option between the two. Key features include tubular heating elements, adjustable air flow louvres, permanently lubricated motors with overheat protection, and a durable 18-gauge steel cabinet that is epoxy painted in ASA61 grey. Optional accessories include various thermostats and controls, as well as a wall bracket. The unit comes with a ceiling mounting bracket, and the operational temperature range is from 40-100°F (5-40°C). Heaters rated from 2 to 10 kW are equipped with dual rated motors (208/240V single phase), while those from 15 to 30 kW use single-phase full voltage rated motors. All standard motors have permanently lubricated bearings and built-in thermal overloads, with totally enclosed ball bearing motors as standard. The motor operates at 1550 RPM, with horsepower ratings of 1/20 HP for 2 to 10 kW units and 1/10 HP for 15 to 30 kW units. Additionally, the heater includes a built-in thermostat adjustable from 41°F to 100°F (5°C to 38°C), a fused control circuit, and manual reset high limit protection for enhanced safety.
