Caloritech™ GE series regular duty forced air unit heaters are designed for regular duty industrial and commercial space heating applications, making them suitable for environments such as factories, warehouses, parking garages, boiler rooms, arenas, grandstands, mechanical rooms, shopping malls, and commercial storefronts. The heater features a robust design and high-quality construction that exceeds the standards of most competitive models. The forced air unit heater comes equipped with a thermostat, operating at 600V with a heating capability of 5 kW. The heating output varies based on conditions and requires consultation with the factory, utilizing electric fuel type and designed for hardwired indoor use. The unit has blower functionality and offers output options ranging from 2 kW to 30 kW with voltages from 208V to 600V, available in either 1 or 3 phase and convertible from 1 to 3 phase. Key features include tubular heating elements, adjustable air flow louvres, permanently lubricated motors, overheat protection, and an 18-gauge steel cabinet finished with epoxy paint (ASA61 grey). Optional accessories include thermostats, controls, and a wall bracket. The motors are mounted outside the element bundle, with a ceiling mounting bracket supplied, and the operational temperature range is from 40°F to 100°F (5°C to 40°C). The 2 to 10 kW heaters are standard with dual rated motors for 208/240V single phase, while the 15 to 30 kW heaters come standard with single phase full voltage rated motors. The motors are equipped with permanently lubricated bearings and built-in thermal overloads, featuring totally enclosed ball bearing motors operating at a standard RPM of 1550 unless otherwise stated. The motor horsepower ratings are 1/20 HP for 2 to 10 kW and 1/10 HP for 15 to 30 kW, with other ratings available upon factory inquiry. Additionally, the unit includes a built-in thermostat with a range of 41°F to 100°F (5°C to 38°C) and a fused control circuit with manual reset high.
