Caloritech™ GE series regular duty forced air unit heaters are designed for regular duty industrial and commercial space heating applications, suitable for locations such as factories, warehouses, parking garages, boiler rooms, arenas, grandstands, mechanical rooms, shopping malls, and commercial storefronts. The heater features a forced air unit with a thermostat rated for 600V and has a heating capability that varies based on conditions, which should be consulted with the factory. It operates on electric fuel type and is hardwired for indoor use, including a blower. The output ranges from 2 kW to 30 kW with voltage options from 208V to 600V in either single or three-phase configurations; it is also field convertible from single to three-phase. Highlights include tubular heating elements, adjustable air flow louvres, and permanently lubricated motors with overheat protection. The cabinet is made of 18-gauge steel with an epoxy paint finish (ASA61 grey). Optional features include thermostats and controls, a wall bracket, and a ceiling mounting bracket. Temperature settings range from 40-100°F (5-40°C), with 2 to 10 kW heaters using dual-rated motors for 208/240V single-phase and transformers where necessary for proper motor voltage. The 15 to 30 kW models have full voltage rated motors, while standard motors include permanently lubricated bearings and built-in thermal overloads. The heaters are equipped with totally enclosed ball bearing motors, operating at 1550 RPM, with motor ratings of 1/20 HP for 2 to 10 kW and 1/10 HP for 15 to 30 kW. Built-in thermostats operate between 41°F to 100°F (5°C to 38°C), and a fused control circuit along with a manual reset high limit offer added safety and reliability.
