Caloritech™ GE Series regular duty forced air unit heaters are designed for use in regular duty industrial and commercial heating applications, suitable for factories, warehouses, parking garages, boiler rooms, arenas, grandstands, mechanical rooms, shopping malls, and commercial storefronts. The heater features a forced air unit with a 5 kW heating capability, depending on specific conditions, and operates with an electric fuel type that is hardwired for indoor use, including a blower. It offers a range of output from 2 kW to 30 kW, compatible with voltages from 208V to 600V in either single or three-phase configurations. The unit is field convertible from single to three-phase and incorporates tubular heating elements with adjustable airflow louvres, permanently lubricated motors, and overheat protection. Constructed from 18-gauge steel with epoxy paint (ASA61 grey), it includes optional thermostats, controls, and a wall bracket, with motors mounted outside the heating element bundle and a ceiling mounting bracket supplied. The operating temperature ranges from 40°F to 100°F (5°C to 40°C), and the 2 to 10 kW heaters come standard with dual-rated motors (208/240V single phase). Transformers ensure proper motor voltage where necessary, while 15 to 30 kW heaters utilize single-phase full voltage rated motors. Standard motors have permanently lubricated bearings and built-in thermal overloads, with totally enclosed ball bearing motors as standard, operating at 1550 RPM unless otherwise stated. Motor horsepower ratings are as follows: 2 to 10 kW at 1/20 HP, 15 to 30 kW at 1/10 HP, with additional ratings available upon factory inquiry. The built-in thermostat operates within a range of 41°F to 100°F (5°C to 38°C) and incorporates a fused control circuit with a manual reset feature.
