Caloritech™ GE series regular duty forced air unit heaters are designed for industrial and commercial space heating applications, suitable for environments such as factories, warehouses, parking garages, boiler rooms, arenas, grandstands, mechanical rooms, shopping malls, and display areas. This heater includes a forced air unit with a thermostat rated at 600V and 5 kW, with heating capability dependent on conditions, requiring consultation with the factory. The electric fuel type is hardwired for indoor use, featuring a blower, output options from 2 kW to 30 kW, and voltage compatibility ranging from 208V to 600V in either 1 or 3 phase, with field convertible options. The robust construction includes tubular heating elements, adjustable air flow louvres, permanently lubricated motors, and overheat protection, all housed in an 18-gauge steel cabinet with epoxy paint in ASA61 Grey. Optional features include thermostats and controls, wall brackets, and a ceiling mounting bracket. Standard temperature range is from 40 to 100°F (5 to 40°C), with 2 to 10 kW heaters equipped with dual rated motors for 208/240V single phase, and 15 to 30 kW heaters featuring single phase full voltage rated motors. Standard motors come with permanently lubricated bearings and built-in thermal overloads, while totally enclosed ball bearing motors are included as standard, operating at 1550 RPM. Motor horsepower varies with ratings: 2 to 10 kW at 1/20 HP and 15 to 30 kW at 1/10 HP, with other ratings available upon factory inquiry. The built-in thermostat operates between 41°F to 100°F (5°C to 38°C), while a fused control circuit and manual reset high limit further enhance the heater's functionality.
