Caloritech™ GE Series regular duty forced air unit heaters are designed for industrial and commercial space heating applications, suitable for factories, warehouses, parking garages, boiler rooms, arenas, grandstands, mechanical rooms, shopping malls, and commercial storefronts. These heaters feature a robust design with a heating capability of 5 kW, suitable for hardwired indoor use and capable of delivering 2 kW to 30 kW output, with voltage options ranging from 208V to 600V in either single or three-phase configurations. The unit includes a blower and adjustable airflow louvers, while the permanently lubricated motors come with overheat protection. The cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge steel and finished with epoxy paint (ASA61 grey). Optional features include thermostats and controls, along with a wall bracket for mounting. These heaters operate within a temperature range of 40-100°F (5-40°C), and the 2 to 10 kW models are equipped with dual-rated motors for 208/240V single-phase applications, with transformers used when necessary for proper motor voltage. Models rated at 15 to 30 kW utilize single-phase full voltage rated motors, all of which contain permanently lubricated bearings and built-in thermal overloads. Standard motor RPM is 1550, with horsepower ratings of 1/20 HP for 2 to 10 kW and 1/10 HP for 15 to 30 kW, with additional ratings available. The built-in thermostat operates between 41°F to 100°F (5°C to 38°C), and the unit features a fused control circuit with a manual reset mechanism.
