The NPS® heavy duty table with butcher block top is designed for makerspaces and STEM labs, featuring a 1-3/4" thick maple wood top coated with a urethane-based satin finish to resist permanent stains while absorbing sound and impact for a safer learning environment. The table's construction includes a robust 16 gauge steel frame apron and 14 gauge legs, making it virtually indestructible. It is equipped with 11 gauge steel tabletop support tabs and corner brackets fused together with 4 heavy-duty tamper-free Loctite hex screws. The legs feature a dual connection design, with a 12 gauge leg-base fastened to the tabletop using 4 heavy-duty screws secured by a strong welded hangar bolt, and connect to the frame corner brackets with industrial-grade nylon-insert lock nuts. Standard features include simple-adjust glides for leveling and optional caster/gusset kits. The table boasts 14 gauge steel tubing, a 12 gauge top plate, and is available in a powder-coated soft grey finish. It is MAS Certified Green and comes with a 10-year warranty.
