SC Preferredon® starter units feature a blue metallic finish designed to withstand extreme wet, hot, or cold environments, and include 4 posts with leveling feet, 5 wire shelves, and plastic snap-on sleeves to secure shelves to the posts. The shelves are reinforced with welded surface ribs for added strength, have an open design to maximize air and light circulation while minimizing dust accumulation, and can be easily adjusted without tools at 1" increments. The epoxy coating is protected by Nex Gard®, an anti-microbial agent that prevents bacteria, mold, and mildew which cause odors and product degradation. The unit is NSF approved for both wet and dry use and comes with a limited lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion.
