The Merit 316 stainless steel class 150 slip-on flange measures 5" female and is designed for use as an alternative to weld neck flanges when cost or space is a major concern. The slip-on flanges are bored slightly larger than the pipe outer diameter (OD) to allow for easy installation; they slip over the pipe and are then aligned and welded into place.
