The Merit 304 stainless steel class 150 slip-on flange features a 4" female connection. Slip-on flanges are used as an alternative to weld neck flanges when cost or space considerations are significant. These flanges are bored slightly larger than the pipe outer diameter (OD) to allow the flange to slip over the pipe, which is then aligned and welded into place.
