The Merit 304 stainless steel class 300 slip-on flange 2-1/2" female slip-on flanges are designed to be used in place of weld neck flanges when cost or space considerations are significant. These flanges have a bore that is slightly larger than the pipe outer diameter (OD), allowing the flange to slip over the pipe, which is then aligned and welded into position.
