The Merit 304 stainless steel class 300 weld neck schedule 40 bore flange is designed with a 2-1/2" female bore. Weld neck flanges feature a long tapered hub that is butt-welded to the mating pipe, providing significant reinforcement of the flange from the standpoint of strength and resistance to dishing. This design also effectively absorbs repeated bending caused by line expansion or other variable forces. The flange is made from 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance, and conforms to Class 300 pressure rating standards. It is built to schedule 40 pipe dimensions, compatible with pipes having a nominal bore of 2-1/2 inches. The package includes the weld neck flange component ready for installation.
