Ultra-Dewatering Bags® are designed to contain sediment and oil pumped out during dewatering operations, effectively trapping silt, dirt, sand, and other pollutants to ensure that only filtered water escapes to the ground below or nearby storm drains. These bags help in complying with NPDES regulations, specifically 40 CFR 122.26 (1999), when used as best management practices in stormwater pollution prevention plans. The bags come in standard and custom sizes, accommodating up to a 4-inch discharge hose, and feature an optional hose connector for easy connection and disconnection. Constructed from durable 8 oz. non-woven material, Ultra-Dewatering Bags detain both oil and sediment/silt, providing a unique combination of benefits that is not offered by alternative dewatering solutions. To enhance filtration efficiency, the bag can be placed on an aggregate or haybale bed, maximizing water flow through its surface area.
