SC Preferredite® mobile shelving units feature a sturdy frame and posts with a SC Preferredon® finish and include polymer removable plastic mats that allow easy cleaning. The shelves have an open design to maximize air and light circulation while minimizing dust accumulation, with polymer composition mats of modular design featuring a vented open grid surface that is smooth and crevice-free. The polymer material resists denting, chipping, rust, and corrosion. The unit is open on all four sides for complete access and superior ventilation. Each truck includes 4 posts, 5 plastic mat shelves, 4 swivel casters—2 of which have brakes—and plastic snap-on sleeves to secure shelves to posts. Shelves adjust easily without tools at 1" increments. The epoxy coating is protected by Nexgard®, an anti-microbial agent that prevents bacteria, mold, and mildew, and is NSF approved for wet or dry use. The unit has a 1200 lb overall capacity.
