SC Preferredite® mobile shelving units feature polymer removable plastic mats for easy cleaning and an open design that maximizes air and light circulation while minimizing dust accumulation. Shelves are easily adjustable without tools at 1" increments. The unit includes a sturdy frame and posts finished in SC Preferredon® and comes with 4 posts, 5 plastic mat shelves, 4 swivel casters—2 with brakes—and plastic snap-on sleeves to secure shelves to posts. The polymer composition shelf mats have a modular design with a vented open grid surface that is smooth and crevice-free, made of polymer material that will never dent, chip, rust, or corrode. The shelves are open on all four sides for complete access and superior ventilation. The epoxy coating is protected by Nex Gard®, an anti-microbial agent that inhibits bacteria, mold, and mildew, which cause odors and product degradation. The unit is NSF approved for wet or dry use and has an overall capacity of 1200 lb.
