High performance smooth polyester strapping is engineered for demanding strapping applications, ensuring a consistent and high-quality product. This strapping boasts several key features, including split resistance, which prevents small nicks or cuts from propagating across the width of the strap, and high retained tension, allowing it to be applied tightly with a tension capability that is 50% tighter than nylon and up to five times tighter than polypropylene. The elongation recovery attribute means that while the polyester will stretch under tension, most elongation is recovered after the initial application, keeping the strap tight even during load settling in transit. Environmentally sound, the PAC polyester strapping is easy to recycle and resistant to weather conditions, unlike steel which rusts and is affected by the elements. Furthermore, it offers superior safety by significantly reducing the risk of recoil injuries and is much lighter, with PET coils weighing about half that of steel coils, thereby minimizing lifting injuries. The polyester strapping is also engineered to provide shock reserve, allowing it to absorb stresses during transit and maintain tightness.
