The Heat Hog® 9,000 BTU portable propane radiant space heater is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, making it ideal for environments such as garages, tailgating, ice fishing, hunting, and camping. This unit features a patent-pending tiltable design that allows users to adjust the heat angle for optimal warmth. It incorporates a warming dock to keep the liquid propane (LP) tank warm, maximizing fuel efficiency; as LP tanks cool, they burn less fuel, but the dock ensures the best BTU output. With curved plaque technology, this heater provides a 33-degree wider heating area compared to standard models, effectively heating spaces up to 225 square feet with 9,000 BTUs of radiant heat output. The heater can operate with either a 1 lb. LP cylinder or a 20 lb. propane tank (with accessory hose), and requires no electricity. Additional features include a fold-down handle, a quick connect rail swivel-out fuel connection, a rugged safety guard, a safety tip-over switch, and an oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) that automatically shuts off the unit in low oxygen situations or after accidental falls. Components are designed for easy access, facilitating cleaning and part replacement.
