High performance smooth polyester strapping is engineered to provide a consistent, high-quality product for demanding strapping applications. This kit includes high-performance polyester strap that features split resistance, ensuring that a small nick or cut will not propagate across the width of the strap. It offers high retained tension, allowing application tightness that is 50% tighter than nylon and up to five times tighter than polypropylene. The elongation recovery attribute enables the strap to stretch under tension while recovering most of the elongation after initial application, ensuring it stays tight even during load shrinkage and settling in transit. Environmentally sound, PAC polyester is easy to recycle and nearly impervious to weather conditions. Unlike traditional steel strapping, PAC high-performance polyester provides advantages such as "shock reserve," which compensates for stresses during transit, and it has a reduced risk of recoil injuries since PET coils weigh about half as much as steel coils. The strapping is also weather resistant, as it does not rust, is virtually unaffected by weather conditions, and is naturally UV resistant.
