High performance smooth, waxed polyester strapping is engineered for consistent, high-quality performance in demanding strapping applications. The kit includes high-retained tension capabilities allowing it to be applied tight and remain up to 50% tighter than nylon and five times tighter than polypropylene. It features split resistance, ensuring that any small nick or cut will not propagate across the strap's width. The strapping exhibits elongation recovery, stretching under tension and recovering most elongation after initial application to maintain tightness during loads settling in transit. Environmentally sound, the polyester is easy to recycle and nearly impervious to weather conditions, being UV resistant and rust-proof unlike steel. Additionally, it minimizes safety hazards, as PET coils weigh about half of what steel coils do, reducing potential lifting injuries and the danger of recoil injuries. This high-performance polyester strapping is a superior alternative to steel, providing shock reserve to compensate for stresses during transit and ensuring the strap remains tight throughout the process.
