High performance smooth polyester strapping is engineered to provide a consistent, high-quality product for demanding strapping applications. This polyester strap features split resistance, ensuring that small nicks or cuts do not propagate across its width. With a high retained tension capability, it can be applied tightly, maintaining a tension that is 50% tighter than nylon and up to five times tighter than polypropylene. The strap exhibits excellent elongation recovery; while it stretches under tension, most of the elongation is recovered after application, keeping it tight during load settling in transit. Environmentally sound, PAC polyester is easy to recycle and resistant to weather conditions. Unlike steel strapping, PAC high-performance polyester offers a superior solution for many applications as it provides "shock reserve" to compensate for transit stresses. Additionally, it enhances safety by significantly reducing the risk of recoil injuries, and PET coils weigh about half that of steel coils, thus minimizing potential lifting injuries. The material is also weather resistant, not rusting like steel and being virtually unaffected by weather, while being naturally UV resistant and recyclable.
