High performance smooth polyester strapping is engineered to deliver a consistent, high-quality product suited for demanding strapping applications. This strapping features split resistance, ensuring that a small nick or cut does not propagate across the width of the strap. Its high retained tension capacity allows for tight applications, maintaining a tension that is 50% tighter than nylon and up to five times tighter than polypropylene. The elongation recovery property enables the strap to stretch under tension while recovering most of the elongation after initial application, which helps keep the strap tight even as loads shrink and settle during transit. Environmentally sound, the PAC polyester is easy to recycle and highly resistant to weather conditions, making it a reliable choice. Compared to steel, which has been traditionally preferred for certain loads, PAC high-performance polyester emerges as a superior alternative, offering "shock reserve" to compensate for transit stresses. This strapping minimizes the risk of recoil injuries and is about half the weight of steel coils, thus reducing potential lifting injuries.
