The strap maintains high retained tension, allowing it to be applied tightly, with a retention capability that is 50% tighter than nylon and up to five times tighter than polypropylene. The elongation recovery feature enables the strap to stretch under tension while recovering most of its elongation after the initial application, ensuring it stays tight even when loads shrink and settle during transit. Environmentally sound, PAC polyester is easy to recycle and nearly impervious to weather conditions, presenting a better alternative to steel for many applications. It has "shock reserve" properties that allow it to compensate for stresses during transit while ensuring safety by reducing recoil injury risks; PET coils weigh about half as much as steel coils, decreasing potential lifting injuries.
