These extensions are constructed from high-quality HMPE fibers, making them lighter, stronger, and safer than traditional steel cables. With a working load limit of 7,400 lbs., Nimbus™ winch lines include a stainless-steel thimble that ensures maximum abrasion protection and remains impervious to rust and ice. The Kevlar-protected tail facilitates a secure connection to the winch line, while the synthetic fibers are designed to eliminate memory, preventing kinking or flat spots. Importantly, if the line were to break due to overload, it will not whip around dangerously, thus minimizing the risk of injury. Nimbus™ synthetic winch line extensions feature a weather-resistant and UV-resistant finish, making them suitable for all weather conditions.
