Nimbus™ synthetic winch rope extensions are a crucial addition to any recovery kit, significantly extending the reach beyond the standard length offered by winches. These extensions are constructed from high-quality HMPE fibers, making them stronger than steel while remaining lightweight. They include a stainless-steel thimble that provides maximum abrasion protection without the risk of rust or ice, suitable for all weather conditions. Additionally, they feature a Kevlar-protected tail for a secure connection to the winch line. The synthetic fibers used do not retain memory, ensuring they remain kink-free and devoid of flat spots. In the event of an overload, the line will not whip around dangerously, thereby reducing the risk of injury. Each Nimbus™ synthetic winch line extension is made in the USA, with a working load limit of 10,700 lbs and a 3:1 design factor.
