Each Nimbus® winch line is equipped with a stainless-steel thimble for maximum abrasion protection, which is resistant to rust and ice, making these extensions suitable for all weather conditions. The design includes a Kevlar-protected tail to ensure a secure connection to your winch line. Unlike traditional steel cables, synthetic fibers have no memory, preventing kinking or flat spots, and in the case of overload failure, the line will not whip around dangerously, greatly reducing the risk of injury. Nimbus® synthetic winch line extensions are manufactured in the USA and feature a 3:1 design factor, with a working load limit (WLL) of 16,933 lbs. The weather-resistant and UV-resistant finish provides additional protection against the elements, and the fibers are safe to handle, minimizing the need for gloves.
