These extensions are engineered to be stronger than steel while remaining extremely lightweight, featuring a stainless-steel thimble for maximum abrasion protection that is impervious to rust and ice, making them suitable for all weather conditions. The extensions include a Kevlar-protected tail for a secure connection to your winch line, and the synthetic fibers are designed to have no memory, preventing kinks or flat spots. In the event of an overload, the line will not whip around dangerously, reducing the risk of potential injuries. All Nimbus™ synthetic winch line extensions are made in the USA and boast a 3:1 design factor. The extensions are lighter, stronger, and safer compared to steel cables, and their synthetic fibers minimize the need for gloves when handling. The stainless-steel thimble ensures a secure connection with metal hooks, remaining rust and freeze-resistant. Additionally, these extensions feature a weather-resistant and UV-resistant finish for protection against the elements, with a working load limit of 16,933 lbs (WLL).
