The Forney® Industries powerful, professional-grade dual-voltage plasma cutter is designed for efficiency and versatility, capable of clean cutting 7/8" (22.23 mm) at 10 in/min and sever cutting 1-1/8" (28.58 mm) at 5 in/min. It features a 15ft (4.57 m) power cable and a 25ft (7.62 m) lead, making it lightweight and providing one of the largest work envelopes in the industry. Constructed with all-metal housing, the Forney® 45 P includes a quick-lock torch connection, a temperature-controlled fan, and reliable inverter technology, and it can be operated using Hypertherm® compatible consumables. The kit includes the plasma cutting power source, Forney® Ignite™ plasma torch, a ground cable with ground clamp, a 240V - 120V adapter cord, and replacement consumables. The specifications include input power of 120 VAC / 240 VAC, 1-PH, at 50-60 Hz, with an input current of 14A at both voltages. The output current range is 15-20 amps for 120V and 15-45 amps for 240V, while the duty cycle is 60% @ 20A for 120V and 40% @ 45A, 60% @ 38A for 240V. The recommended gas inlet pressure is 100 - 130 PSI (6.9 - 9.0 bar) with a gas supply flow rate of 6.6 CFM (188 in/min), and a minimum gas supply flow rate of 5.8 CFM (165 in/min). The gas supply lines require a minimum inner diameter of 3/8" (9.53 mm). The unit is CSA listed and offers a 3-year warranty for the power source and a 1-year warranty for the torch.
