The Forney® Pro Series of auto-darkening welding helmets are tailored for experienced and professional welders or fab shop workers engaged in extensive welding tasks. These helmets feature a lightweight, high-impact, fireproof nylon shell and a dual crown strap headgear with multi-directional adjustments, ensuring a precise and comfortable fit. The quick-fit, 5-point adjustable geared headband, equipped with a sweatband, significantly reduces head, neck strain, and general fatigue associated with prolonged helmet use. An external quick-release button allows for quick angle and distance adjustments of the headgear. The viewing area measures 10.44 square inches (3-15/16" x 2-5/8") and incorporates Arc Optics technology, providing a natural and comfortable viewing experience. Equipped with four optical arc sensors, these helmets offer superior protection against arc flash hazards, especially beneficial for out-of-position welding, and possess a 1/1/1/2 optical clarity rating for a clear viewing area. The UV/IR coating enhances lens durability by reducing scratching and discoloration. Performance features include an internal shade selector with a grind option, as well as internal stepless controls for sensitivity (high-low) and delay (min.-max.), which help safeguard the controls from damage and prevent accidental setting changes.
