The Americana® climbing wind type II safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, accommodating head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8, and is lightweight at only 13 oz., ensuring all-day comfort. It has a short peak brim to enhance the vertical field of view, improving safety awareness. The helmet is equipped with a 4-point chin strap made of durable nylon with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, along with a deluxe chin guard. The new black 4-point woven nylon suspension includes goggle retaining slots and a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. It meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - type II class C. Additionally, it complies with USA standards, specifically ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, offering type II impact protection with off-center penetration and chin loops, and Class C electrical protection. The helmet is packaged with 12 units per carton and is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension.
