The Americana® Climbing Wind is a safety helmet designed for optimal protection and comfort, featuring a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system which allows for one-handed adjustment even while wearing gloves. Weighing only 13 oz., it is lightweight for all-day wear and has a short peak brim that enhances the vertical field of view for added safety. This helmet includes a durable nylon 4-point chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, along with a deluxe chin guard. The new black 4-point woven nylon suspension maintains comfort throughout the day while minimizing discoloration from sweat and dirt. It accommodates head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8 and includes a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. The helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and features goggle retaining slots on the suspension. It is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type I Class C and complies with ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 standards, providing Type I impact protection, flammability, and penetration resistance. The helmet is packaged with 12 units per carton and is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension.
