The Americana® climbing peak safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, making it convenient to use whether you're wearing gloves or not. Weighing only 13 oz., this lightweight helmet provides all-day comfort. It includes a short peak brim for an improved vertical field of view and a durable 4-point chin strap made from woven nylon, complete with slider size adjustments and a deluxe chin guard. The helmet is designed for head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8, and it comes with a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. The new black 4-point woven nylon suspension not only ensures a secure fit but also masks discoloration from sweat and dirt. Additionally, the helmet features goggle retaining slots on the suspension and is packaged with 12 units per carton. It meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type I Class E & G. Furthermore, it complies with USA standards including ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection and offers Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), along with Type I impact protection focusing on the top of the head, flammability, and penetration.
