The Americana® climbing peak helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension that allows for one-handed adjustment, ensuring a secure fit with or without gloves. Weighing only 13 oz., it is designed for all-day comfort and includes a short peak brim for an enhanced vertical field of view, promoting safety. The helmet is equipped with a durable 4-point nylon chin strap, featuring woven webbing and slider size adjustments along with a deluxe chin guard. The black 4-point woven nylon suspension offers a low profile and effectively masks discoloration from sweat and dirt. It accommodates head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8 and comes with a removable, washable, and replaceable moisture-wicking brow pad. This helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension, packaged with 12 units per carton. It is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) for Type I Class E & G. The helmet adheres to USA standards including ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, providing Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V), Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), and Type I impact protection with resistance to flammability and penetration.
