The Americana® climbing peak is equipped with a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension that allows for one-handed adjustment, easily operable with or without gloves, and weighs only 13 oz. for all-day comfort. It features a short peak brim to enhance the vertical field of view, increasing safety. The helmet includes a durable nylon 4-point chin strap with woven webbing, slider size adjustments, and a deluxe chin guard. The Mega Ratchet® size adjustment accommodates head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8, and it includes a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. This model meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and has goggle retaining slots on the suspension, with 12 helmets per carton. It is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) for Type I Class E & G. The product conforms to USA standards including ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014, providing Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), along with Type I impact protection for the top of the head, flammability, and penetration.
