The Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension helmet features a one-handed adjustment system, designed for use with or without gloves, and weighs only 13 oz., ensuring all-day comfort. The helmet includes a short peak brim for an improved vertical field of view, enhancing safety. It also comes with a durable 4-point chin strap made from nylon with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complemented by a deluxe chin guard. The Americana® climbing peak Type II helmet is equipped with a Mega Ratchet® one-hand tightening system for easy adjustment without removing equipment, ensuring continuous safety. The helmet's black 4-point woven nylon suspension not only provides secure comfort but also masks discoloration from sweat and dirt. It features a Type II insert that protects against impacts from all angles. Key specifications include a size adjustment accommodating head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8, a removable, washable, and replaceable moisture-wicking brow pad, goggle retaining slots on the suspension, and compatibility with the I-675R replacement suspension. The helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) for Type I Class E & G. This helmet offers Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), along with Type II impact protection which includes impact energy attenuation and chin loops. Each carton includes 12 helmets.
