The Americana® climbing peak type II safety helmet is designed for optimal head protection and comfort, featuring a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment even while wearing gloves. Weighing only 13 oz., this helmet is lightweight for all-day wear and includes a short peak brim that enhances vertical field of view for improved safety. It comes equipped with a 4-point chin strap made of durable nylon, complete with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, along with a deluxe chin guard. The new black 4-point woven nylon suspension ensures a secure fit, accommodating head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8, and features a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. This helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. It is packaged with 12 units per carton and is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension. The safety helmet is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) for Type I Class E & G. It provides Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), along with Type II impact protection, which includes attenuation of impact energy, off-center penetration resistance, and chin loops for added security.
