The Americana® Climbing Wind Type II helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension, equipped with a one-handed adjustment system that can be operated with or without gloves, ensuring ease of use and safety. Weighing only 13 oz., it provides all-day comfort, complemented by a short peak brim for an enhanced vertical field of view. The helmet includes a durable nylon 4-point chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, along with a deluxe chin guard. Notably, the new black 4-point woven nylon suspension offers a low profile while maintaining a secure fit, accommodating head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable, ensuring hygiene and comfort. This vented helmet is designed to keep the user cool throughout the day and features goggle retaining slots on the suspension. The product meets the low temperature (LT) option of the ANSI Z89.1 standard and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type II Class C. Applicable standards include ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, providing Type II impact protection, and Class C for electrical safety. Each carton contains 12 helmets.
