The Americana® climbing peak Type II is an innovative safety helmet designed for optimal head protection and comfort throughout the day, weighing only 13 oz. It features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension for one-handed adjustment, allowing users to customize fit without removing any equipment. The helmet includes a durable nylon chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments for a secure fit, complemented by a deluxe chin guard. Its design includes a short peak brim that enhances vertical field of view, ensuring greater safety. The black 4-point woven nylon suspension is engineered to mask signs of wear from sweat and dirt, while accommodating head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. This helmet meets the low-temperature (LT) requirements of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. Each carton contains 12 helmets, and it is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension. The helmet is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020), classified as Type I Class E & G, offering Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), along with Type II impact protection that includes off-center penetration and chin loops.
