The Americana® climbing peak safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment with or without gloves, ensuring convenience while maintaining safety. Weighing only 13 oz., this lightweight helmet offers all-day comfort, with a short peak brim that enhances vertical field of view. It includes a durable nylon 4-point chin strap featuring woven webbing and slider size adjustments, as well as a deluxe chin guard. The black 4-point woven nylon suspension is designed for secure all-day comfort, effectively masking discoloration from sweat and dirt. Additional features include a removable, washable, and replaceable moisture-wicking brow pad, goggle retaining slots on the suspension, and compatibility with the I-675R replacement suspension. The helmet accommodates head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8 and is certified to meet the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard. It is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) Type I Class E & G and meets ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 standards for industrial head protection, providing Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) and Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V). The Type I designation indicates impact protection for the top of the head, along with flammability and penetration resistance. Each unit comes packaged with 12 per carton.
