The Americana® climbing wind type II is a safety helmet designed for maximum comfort and protection, featuring the Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system for one-handed adjustment, even with gloves on, and weighing only 13 oz. for all-day wear. This helmet has a short peak brim that enhances the vertical field of view, contributing to safety. It is equipped with a durable nylon 4-point chin strap that includes a deluxe chin guard and slider size adjustments. The black 4-point woven nylon suspension not only ensures secure comfort throughout the day but also conceals sweat and dirt discoloration. Additional features include a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable, compliance with the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, goggle retaining slots on suspension, and a compatibility option for the I-675R replacement suspension. The helmet is certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) Type II Class C and meets ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 standards for industrial head protection, providing Type II impact protection and Class C electrical protection for conductive applications. Each carton contains 12 helmets, with a Mega Ratchet® size adjustment accommodating head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8.
