The Americana® climbing peak helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension for one-handed adjustment, designed for use with or without gloves, and weighs only 13 oz. for all-day comfort. It includes a short peak brim, which enhances the vertical field of view for improved safety, alongside a durable nylon chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments equipped with a deluxe chin guard. The new black 4-point woven nylon suspension complements the helmet's low profile design, while the 4-point chin strap provides additional security. The Mega Ratchet® size adjustment accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8, and it comes with a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. The helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. Each carton contains 12 helmets, and it is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension. The helmet is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type I Class E & G. It complies with USA Standards ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014, providing Class G electrical protection (proof-tested at 2,200V) as well as Class E electrical protection (proof-tested at 20,000V), and offers Type I impact protection encompassing flammability and penetration.
