The Americana® climbing wind type II is an advanced safety helmet featuring a Mega Ratchet® 4 point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, whether with or without gloves, ensuring ease of use. Weighing only 13 oz., it is designed for all-day comfort and features a short peak brim for an improved vertical field of view, enhancing safety. The helmet includes a durable nylon 4 point chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complemented by a deluxe chin guard. The black 4-point woven nylon suspension not only offers secure comfort but also effectively masks discoloration from sweat and dirt. This helmet is equipped with a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable, and replaceable. It meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. Each carton contains 12 helmets. The product is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type II Class C. It complies with USA standards including ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, offering Type II impact protection with chin loops and Class C electrical protection, which is conductive and not electrically tested.
