The Americana® Climbing Wind helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system with one-handed adjustment that can be used with or without gloves, making it user-friendly. Weighing only 13 oz., it offers all-day comfort and includes a short peak brim for an enhanced vertical field of view, which contributes to greater safety. The helmet is equipped with a durable nylon 4-point chin strap that incorporates woven webbing and slider size adjustments along with a deluxe chin guard. This vented helmet ensures breathability throughout the day and is designed for secure comfort, utilizing a black 4-point woven nylon suspension that helps mask discoloration from sweat and dirt. Additional features include a moisture-wicking, removable, washable, and replaceable brow pad, goggle retaining slots on the suspension, and it is packaged with 12 units per carton. The helmet accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8, is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type I Class C, and meets the low-temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard. It complies with USA standards including ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, ensuring Type I impact protection with flammability and penetration resistance, while providing Class C electrical protection.
