The Americana® climbing wind safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, accommodating head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8, all while being lightweight at only 13 oz. for all-day comfort. The helmet is designed with a short peak brim that enhances the vertical field of view, ensuring better safety. It includes a durable 4-point chin strap made of nylon with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, coupled with a deluxe chin guard. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable, contributing to user comfort. This vented helmet is certified to the SEI standards of CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - Type I Class C and meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard, which defines industrial head protection. It features goggle retaining slots on the suspension and is packaged with 12 helmets per carton. The helmet complies with USA standards, specifically ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, providing impact protection to the top of the head while also addressing flammability and penetration risks, with Class C denoting non-electrical conductivity.
