The Americana® Climbing Peak Type II safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, even with gloves on, enhancing user convenience and safety. Weighing only 13 oz., it ensures all-day comfort, while its short peak brim improves vertical field of view. The kit includes a durable 4-point nylon chin strap with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, complemented by a deluxe chin guard. The black 4-point woven nylon suspension is designed to mask discoloration from sweat and dirt and accommodates head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8. The moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable, adding to the helmet's practicality. It meets the low-temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. The packaging consists of 12 units per carton, and the helmet is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension. It is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) for type I class E & G, providing Class G electrical protection proof-tested at 2,200V, Class E electrical protection proof-tested at 20,000V, and Type II impact protection, which includes impact energy attenuation and off-center penetration resistance.
