The Americana® Climbing Wind Type II is a safety helmet designed to provide optimal protection while ensuring comfort throughout the day. It features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension system that allows for one-handed adjustment, making it easy to use with or without gloves. Weighing only 13 oz., this lightweight helmet includes a short peak brim for an enhanced vertical field of view and comes with a durable 4-point chin strap made of nylon with woven webbing and slider size adjustments, along with a deluxe chin guard. The helmet is vented to keep the wearer cool and includes a black 4-point woven nylon suspension that conceals sweat and dirt discoloration. The Mega Ratchet® size adjustment accommodates head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8, while a moisture-wicking brow pad is both removable and washable, ensuring continued hygiene. The helmet meets the low temperature option of the Z89.1 standard and features goggle retaining slots on the suspension. Each carton contains 12 helmets, and it is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension. Furthermore, the helmet has been SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) Type II Class C. It adheres to USA Standards, specifically ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 for industrial head protection, offering Type II impact protection, which includes impact energy attenuation and off-center penetration, along with chin loops. It is classified as Class C, indicating that it is conductive and not electrically tested.
