The Americana® climbing wind safety helmet features a Mega Ratchet® 4-point suspension that allows for one-handed adjustment, even when wearing gloves, and weighs only 13 oz., providing all-day comfort. It includes a durable 4-point chin strap made of nylon with woven webbing, slider size adjustments, and a deluxe chin guard. The helmet is designed with a short peak brim to enhance the vertical field of view and improve safety. It features a vented design to keep the wearer cool throughout the day. The Mega Ratchet® system ensures easy size adjustment for head sizes ranging from 6-1/2 to 8, while the moisture-wicking brow pad is removable, washable, and replaceable. The helmet meets the low temperature (LT) option of the Z89.1 standard and includes goggle retaining slots on the suspension. Each carton includes 12 helmets. It is compatible with the I-675R replacement suspension and is SEI certified to CAN/CSA Z94.1-2015 (R2020) - type I class C. Additionally, it adheres to the ANSI-ISEA Z89.1:2014 standards for industrial head protection, providing Type I impact protection (impact to the top of the head, flammability, and penetration) and Class C electrical protection, indicating that it is conductive and has not been electrically tested.
