Engineered to provide superior comfort and safety in cold storage and freezer environments, Tingley® Cold Gear utilizes premium heat retention technology with Thermo-Ficient™ insulation designed to keep users protected in harsh temperatures. The kit includes features such as an aluminum oxide Thermo-Ficient™ lining that reflects up to 70% of body heat for optimal heat retention, a heavy-duty water-repellent, abrasion and tear-resistant 420D nylon shell material for longer wear-life, and an overhead shoulder design for complete freedom of movement. The jacket is equipped with a zipper/storm fly front with hidden snap closure, a detachable insulated hood featuring a knit wind seal and throat guard, and a tapered sweep with an adjustable elastic drawcord to prevent the risk of catching. Additional attributes include a tapered sleeve cuff with hook and loop take-up straps, one exterior left chest zipper pocket, two lined exterior handwarmer pockets, a two-section exterior pen pocket located on the upper left sleeve with a clear badge holder layered on top, and an interior pocket on the upper right with a zipper closure. The embellishment access zipper is positioned in the rear sweep. The black material is 420D PU coated nylon (5.0 oz.), while the jacket body, sleeves, and hood are lined with Thermo-Ficient™ aluminum oxide coated 210T polyester taffeta filled with 240g/m² fiber fill polyester. Seam construction features double needle stitching for the seams and single needle stitching for the hems, and the closure type includes a storm fly front with a heavy-duty zipper and 5 snaps.
