The R6200 heat stress meter accurately measures temperature, humidity, and both direct and radiant sunlight using Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), providing a reliable assessment of the perceived temperature. It is OSHA recommended and features a user-adjustable WBGT audible alarm, alongside the ability to measure heat index, dew point, and barometric pressure. Key features include the measurement of ambient temperature, humidity, wet bulb temperature, black globe temperature, heat stress index, and pressure, with the heat stress index providing insights into how hot it feels based on humidity and temperature. The device boasts a black globe temperature (GT) that tracks the effects of direct solar radiation, an In/out function for WBGT values with or without direct sun exposure, and a multi-line backlit LCD display capable of showing four measurements simultaneously. It also offers maximum, minimum, average, and data hold functions, internal memory for up to 99 measurements, selectable units of measure in °F or °C, and a tripod mount for long-term monitoring.
