This heat stress meter measures temperature, humidity, and direct or radiant sunlight using wet bulb globe temperature (WBGT). The R6210 is OSHA recommended and features a user-adjustable WBGT audible alarm, allowing for customized settings for both indoor and outdoor measurements. It includes an easy-to-read multi-line backlit LCD display that can simultaneously show three measurements, and offers user-selectable units of measure (°F or °C). Key features include the measurement of ambient temperature, humidity, wet bulb temperature, black globe temperature, and WBGT, with the black globe temperature monitoring the effects of direct solar radiation on an exposed surface. The device's in/out function displays the WBGT value with or without direct sun exposure, and it is designed for long-term monitoring with a flexible armband and tripod mount. A low battery indicator is also included, and the battery life lasts approximately 500 hours. The operating temperature range is from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C) with an operating humidity of less than 80% (non-condensing). The storage temperature ranges from 32 to 140°F (0 to 60°C) with a storage humidity of less than 70% (non-condensing), and it can operate at a maximum altitude of 6561' (2000m). The kit includes the heat stress WBGT meter, a flexible armband, fastener for the armband with screws, a keyring, a carabiner, a silicone elbow for anti-skid, a screw for the silicone elbow, and a battery.
