The TM-8811-KIT includes an ultrasonic thickness gauge (TM-8811) and a 5-step calibration block (R9060). This kit measures the thickness of various materials such as steel, cast iron, aluminum, acrylic resin, red copper, brass, zinc, quartz glass, polyethylene, PVC, grey cast iron, and nodular cast iron. It features a large, easy-to-read LCD display and displays sound velocity at the touch of a button. The device offers automatic material calibration, user selectable units of measure (in/mm), and a low battery indicator. Its accuracy is ±(0.5% + 0.1mm). The probe length is 3' (36") with a diameter of 0.4" (10mm). It operates on a power supply of 4 AA batteries and functions within an operating temperature range of 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C), while the probe operates between 32 to 104°F (0 to 40°C). The storage temperature range is -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C), and it is designed for an operating humidity range of 20 to 80%. The kit also includes ultrasonic couplant gel, a probe, a hard carrying case, and batteries.
